Every last Thursday of the month, the CC4DR hosts deep-dive webinars to disseminate city members’ ongoing work. This knowledge sharing and networking space is your place if you are looking for inspiration from other cities, want to learn how others approach digital rights challenges or want to share progress on how you are doing it!

31st March 2022 – 16:00-17:00 CET – Sofia's Sandbox for Innovations: thinking global, acting local  

Within its Digital Transformation Strategy, Sofia has implemented “Innovative Sofia’s Sandbox for Innovative Solutions” a programme for pilot projects, aiming to test innovative technological solutions related to urban challenges and focused on urban topics of key importance for Sofia’s residents. During the deep dive, our colleagues from Sofia will share everything about the initiative and some pilot projects that have already been implemented: Smart Utilities in Kindergartens and the digitalisation, redesign and optimization of municipal administrative services based on life events. The Innovative Sofia team will also share their development of a Municipal system for fully digital application and enrollment of children in kindergartens and first graders in schools.
