We Make The City (17-23 June) is one of the largest city festival in Europe. It celebrates urban life and aims to answer important questions about living in cities: How do we make better cities? How do we make cities better? Within this framework, two days of the event will be dedicated to advancing digital rights for citizens of the world.
The convening offers an opportunity for attendees to present best practices, share perspective on behalf of their city, and collaborate on how to address common challenges together.
On the 19th June, an open conference with CIOs from cities such as London and Helsinki will be held, to explore the topic of civil rights in the digitizing of cities, and there will be an interactive open space for workshops and artistic contributions. See the details here.
On the 20th June, we will hold a separate working session with the Coalition core team and representatives from cities who are already part of the Coalition, to discuss of the future of the initiative and share ideas and practices in more detail.
