SCEWC 2024: 5-7 November 2024
The CC4DR is pleased to be part of the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), the Smart Cities yearly event taking place in Barcelona. In 2024, the SCEWC will last from 5 to 7 November 2024.
The session "Digital Rights in our cities: From Challenges to Solutions" will highlight the role of cities in fostering human rights in the digital era and promoting a human-centered digital transformation. A first high-level dialogue will expose how and why cities are relevant to addressing digital rights challenges. It will be followed by a solution dialogue, showcasing different projects from cities to uphold digital rights in urban spaces.

The CC4DR will also host two other sessions at the SCEWC:
"Digital rights in Europe: where at we at and where shall we go?" - Wednesday 6 November 9:30 - 10:15. The session will focus on raising awareness on digital human rights and raising the topic at EU level! Find more information here
